Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
Should an emergency arise, we will do our best to accommodate and schedule your pet to be examined in a timely manner. If the situation is urgent, our veterinarians will work to fit you in between scheduled appointments. If this is not possible, we will refer you to "SmartVet", a virtual veterinary telemedicine provider. Please see the main page on this website for the link. This will put you in contact with a Registered Veterinary Technician who will triage the patient and advise whether your pet requires in-person care or if care can be provided through the virtual Veterinarian. We are part of the Sudbury Vet Association after-hours emergency rotation, so if your pet needs care weekends or after our regular business hours, you will have access to a veterinarian at all times. Chelmsford Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, debit, MasterCard, Visa and American Express. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
